Vidya Balan is known for her amiable nature and cheerful warmth but the power woman is clear that people should not cross the line with her. In an exclusive chat with Filmfare, the award-winning actress revealed her relationship ethics. When asked whether she forgives and forgets rude and improper behaviour she said, “I don’t hold onto things. But the issue has to be addressed. Recently, I got upset with someone about something. I let the person know. The person apologised saying it wasn’t his/her intention and that he/she was sorry. I could be in such a position too. Thankfully, I’ve never been in a situation where someone felt I’d been disrespectful or impolite. But if I am, I’ve no problem saying sorry. Sometimes I say something to my mother and then I call back and say, ‘Sorry I was just stressed’. When I say sorry, I mean it. There are times when someone hasn’t been nice. You realise you’ve given too much leeway to that person and he/she is beyond understanding. Then I just keep my distance.”
On the professional front, Vidya Balan has just delivered a blockbuster, Mission Mangal. Currently, she is prepping for the Shakuntala Devi biopic. The math genius was known as a human computer. Vidya is going to begin shooting for this Anu Menon’s directorial in London this month.
