Ek Villain

The Sidharth Malhotra movie was a story about two estranged brothers who have a faceoff in the boxing rink. David Fernandez (Akshay Kumar) decides to take up fighting in a bid to save his daughter suffering from a terminal disease. His younger brother Monty, on the other hand, becomes a sensation after one viral video. However, with a desire to prove himself in the ring, he takes up professional boxing as well. The climax truly is the ultimate showdown as we see the two brothers go head to head with each other.

Baar Baar Dekho


Time travel is a concept that is not seen too often in Bollywood. With Baar Baar Dekho, we saw the journey of a man who was taught about the importance of his loved ones by time. Jai Verma (Sidharth Malhotra) and Diya Kapoor (Katrina Kaif) are childhood sweethearts and are all set get married. However, Jai feels that marriage would hamper his career growth and decides against it. What follows in the Sidharth Malhotra movie is Jai realising he’s been travelling through time as he witnesses how miserable his life will turn out without Diya. Reeling from this blow, Jai comes across the priest (Rajit Kapoor) who had conducted his marriage and warned him about the importance of time. He begs him for another chance and the priest grants his wish and he’s given a do over.

A Gentleman

A Gentleman was a film that featured Sidharth Malhotra in a double role. One character was Gaurav Kapoor, a simpleton living in Miami who hopes to get married to his college Kavya (Jacqueline Fernandez). But, Kavya is on the search of a man who is more adventurous and risk-loving. Parallel to the same runs the story of clandestine spy Rishi Purohit (Sidharth Malhotra), who works for a spy organisation headed by Colonel Vijay Saxena (Suniel Shetty). Rishi wants to start fresh and ends up taking Gaurav’s identity who’s killed in an accident. But, little does he know that his troubles are far from over.

Ittefaq

Ittefaq was a classic who dunnit type of murder mystery that starred Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna and Sonakshi Sinha. The film is inspired by the extremely well received Yash Chopra film of the same title. Sidharth played the character of a popular author named Vikram. Sonakshi played the role of a Maya Sinha , a young housewife married to a lawyer. Later, the body of Shekhar Sinha (Sachin Sharma), Maya’s husband and Vikram is made to be the prime suspect since he was present in the apartment. Dev Verma (Akshaye Khanna), is assigned to lead the investigation from the case. When Dev interrogates Vikram and Maya, he learns that the case isn’t as easy as it seemed and even includes Shekhar’s wife Maya as a suspect of the murder. The Sidharth Malhotra movie has enough plot twists and turns to keep you interested through the runtime which just falls short under two hours.

Aiyaary

Aiyaary was a film that featured a talented cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh. In the film, Manoj and Sidharth played the characters of Abhay Singh and Jay Bakshi respectively. The two were highly established officers in the Indian Army with Abhay acting as Jay’s mentor. However, after a fallout between the two, Jai decides go rogue and Abhay is forced to go against his very own protege. The Sidharth Malhotra movie is packed with some mind-blowing action but could have done with a shorter runtime which stretches the film unnecessarily.

Jabariya Jodi

Abhay (Sidharth Malhotra) runs a business which involves kidnapping grooms who ask for a dowry before marriage. After kidnapping them, he forces them to marry the girl and announce it to the society as a surprise party. Later, when his childhood sweetheart Babli (Parineeti Chopra) comes back into his life, she forces him to stay away from these illegitimate means to earn money. He refuses to accept Babli’s opinion and decides to continue with his ways. A heartbroken Babli decides now she’ll kidnap Abhay and force him to marry her. The Sidharth Malhotra movie is inspired by events that occur commonly in the Northern section of India.

Marjaavaan

While the same thing cannot be said about Milap Zaveri, Marjaavaan was Sidharth’s first out and out masala entertainer. Impactful dialogues, item songs, gripping background music and epic fight scene, this film really ticked all the boxes when it comes to commercial flicks. Similar to his character in Ek Villain, Sidharth played the role of a gangster who never really bothered about the joys of life. Zoya (Tara Sutaria) comes into his life and suddenly everything seems be falling into place. However, a dwarf named Vishnu (Riteish Deshmukh) is jealous of Raghu (Sidharth Malhotra) and is determined to make his life a living hell.
